In the twilight of his life, Money wrestles with his past sins and seeks redemption – unsure if there’s any to be had. This isn’t my first stab at writing. I’m a former newspaperman who wrote about real-life mobsters in my hometown, Cleveland. I’ve finished three other feature-length scripts, and I’ve also penned three short screenplays for movies that recently screened at film festivals in Portland and Seattle. One, HANGING CHAD, even won a Best Screenplay Award. I appreciate that these are relatively small achievements, but they’re all stepping stones leading me to where I am. I think I have intriguing ideas and I execute them well on the page. WGA# 1076661

While the timid Seth's main worries include fitting into a new neighborhood, Jeanne feels her entire purpose in life as a caretaker to her husband has been snatched away. Seth soon befriends a withered West Texas cowboy, his Osage companion and an elderly grocery store owner who introduce him to a world of the past through their own life experiences. Jeanne's problems, however, can't be solved so simply. Her first "real" job outside the home not only tests her ability to rely on herself, but places her on the bad side of a mentally unstable, potentially dangerous coworker.
